As a new global order approaches, the West is likely to reduce foreign policy relations throughout Africa. China and Russia have been increasingly establishing their presence in the continent for years and will continue to do so, especially when filling gaps left by the West. However, Africa should pay close attention to the nefarious practices taking place by both regimes towards Africans at home and abroad. China and Russia have extended their propaganda and disinformation machines with brute force in Africa, which, if welcomed, will prove to be a grave detriment to a continent already struggling with corruption.
